Speculations surrounding Moeketsi Mvula’s future is that Orlando Pirates are monitoring the player’s situation with interest. According to sources in the know, the Soweto giants are keeping a close eye on the Free State Stars striker, with a potential deal on the cards. Mvula made 19 league starts for Ea Lla Koto in the 2012/13 season, with the 25-year-old scoring two goals in the process. The player is currently with Stars, camping in Klerksdorp, although sources close to the club reveal that he has been deemed surplus to requirements. Bucs are believed to be eyeing the player to boost the team’s attacking options in the new season. Pirates recently signed Lennox Bacela from Bloemfontein Celtic.
