Spencer Peterson I have to tip my fishing cap to you. Upon our business expansion within a struggling local economic cycle, your words last night really hit home with both Kelly and I. While I know little ole Rainydaze Guide Service is mere Fish Pellets in comparison to other business enterprises, its our personal investment in both time and money that weve made on a local level keeping my family here. Our business cycle can be duplicated in many arenas across the world. The proverbial Roots of good business will sometimes spiral downward before bonding with the liquid gold needed to prosper. The Leaves of change with proper nurturing will fight their way through the underbrush seeking the powerful sunshine to attain both attractive color and expansion. Our business is well known to have attracted multitudes of visitors to area resorts, restaurants, grocery stores, retail outlets, gas stations.......Lists are endless. Our passion for fishing is presently being recognized nationally and heavily marketed to attract new anglers to the Hook and Line passion all year long. We have nearly tripled in size over the last 3 years. Weve been forced to expand our base to try accommodate the influx of both calls and emails from our following who would like to share the boat with us. Upon our continued efforts to attain both growth and national exposure, we now seek to increase the intensity of the spotlight once again, free of charge again to area business interests. Our television filming, short clips, Outdoor writing, and social networking remains........Free to those who want to shirt tail the following. Still those seemingly politically correct Do Good people of a society have a tough time when it comes to gracious gesture. Instead the glowing shun of growth outside the heart of yesteryear is swept under the rug. A man must be happy within himself to truly be happy for anothers prosperity and opportunity. Foolish pride diminishes economic slam dunks far too often in self serving societies. After our recent announced expansion, hundreds of people have gone out of their way to wish Ben good luck in his venture. Both Ben and I have been flooded with calls and emails extending well wishes and Atta Boys. Many of these are customers of mine or friends/family from back home. Many of these gestures come from Bens friends and family. A delicate sprinkle of local blood has gingerly chimed in. A select few people take the chance to open those grumpy folded arms to douse the glaring reality of yesteryear as we pretend to move forward to enhance our prosperity in a unified fashion. While on one hand a bright young man looks to bring both his talents and career inspirations to our struggling area, a local city goes mute. Often times its the silence of a man which speaks with the greatest volume. I must admit 10 years ago I remember the whispers. I just wanted to thank you Spencer Peterson for your sincere words of congratulations!! This my friend speaks volumes for who you are, and your ability to be happy for your fellow man in Ben Gilbertson. While hes not from here, theres an outside chance hes a good man worthy of a handshake and a smile.
