Spend an afternoon in the Ceramic Studio! African Ceramic Masks --May 31, Saturday, 2pm to 5pm Ages: 14 and above Class Fee: $50 + materials/Firing Fee: $10 Registration Closing Date: May 21 Participants in this class will create African masks out of clay, which they will glaze. The instructor will explain and demonstrate the process of hand building and the usage of simple tools to facilitate it. The students will learn glazing with both color and clear glazes. The creative process will be an individual and independent one. The masks everyone produces will have a decorative function. They can be placed on an interior wall, table top or cupboard.
