Spend most of today on the coach travelling from Lisbon to Saville. Countryside varied from mountains to productive farmland, with crops of rice, sunflowers, grapes and olives. Had lunch at a quaint little town named Tavia, built on the side of a river which was used by the Romans to transport their goods. The original foundations for the bridge built by them is still being used to support a Bridge built in 17 century.- really quite amazing. Arrived in Saville, which is quite a romantic city with its churches and beautiful courtyards with Saville orange trees everywhere. At 3pm the temperature was 33 degrees. And we toured the city on foot - Bull Fighting Arena (actual one this time), old walled city and other colourful sights before heading to our Hotel. After a quick makeover we headed off for a nights entertainment with Flamingo Dancing. What a wonderful night it has been although at 8 pm the temperature is 42 degrees.
