Spending major time on my Poker hobby lately, won 5 straight games in a row, but had some of that momentum lost today when I took a two buy-in hit to my bankroll. Its definitely part of the game, but I think I could have saved at least half of my losses. I misplayed two or three hands that costed me a significant sum. I will have to make sure that I get a better nights sleep and a good meal before I hit the game again. Now is as good a time as any to take at least a few days off. Starting tomorrow, once I get a good sleep, I will either get back into action writing through an FSS article or begin my second book. I have not yet heard from the literary agent, but its drawing nearer to the two month deadline. Your prayers are appreciated regardless of the outcome, I know Gods timing and provision is perfect. Last nights Bible study was fantastic, I shared a special time with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I thought the worship songs were a great rotation, the speaker was excellent, and our discussion afterwards among the guys was helpful. I think a lot of us were open and honest about what areas God had been improving in us as of late, and what areas we could still use work in. We also discussed these dynamics in the context of a future spouse, since God willing a lot of us are either in the process of courting/dating a girl or will be soon. It was a breath of fresh air to hear the mutual encouragement, and to listen to each of their perspectives on what areas mattered most in building successful relationships.
