Spending today raking up the plain mulch that is made frm broken up pallet wood-so called eco-mulch. Now that I have had a chance to walk barefoot in my yard, I see that the pieces are painful on feet. Had been noticing dogs playing less chase games. Sooo, my updated advice, if you will be having deeper mudholes: lay this in to beef up your mud and then cover it with soil & sand. If you plan to be training dogs, & this is on the surface, it just isnt good footing. Will be raking, raking, raking & using this in the veg garden. Hindsight!
