Spent 2 HOURS on the phone with XFINITY earlier this week, only to find out that our Gateway Device is a piece of s*** that cannot support basic Bridge mode. They forwarded me to a higher tier support, who was supposed to send us a new modem/gateway, *OF A DIFFERENT BRAND* that will support bridge mode so I can access my work vpn. Got the box in the mail yesterday - and the stupid idiots sent ANOTHER BROKEN GATEWAY OF THE SAME BRAND!!! WTF? Is it really that hard to follow instructions and send the proper equipment *THAT YOUR OWN TECH SUPPORT SAID TO SEND*??? The worst part about this is that Comcast/Xfinity advertises on their own web page that We fully support VPN access - then distribute a modem that has a known bug in it that blocks VPN access. In my view that is called false advertising and/or bait & switch. #comcastsucks #xfinitysucks #badservice
