Spent ALL day on this.... beginning to think an art degree would have taken less time. This large scale, purely 2d painting is a stretch for my skills an experience. Ive been avoiding the project for this very reason. My studio, on the other hand is looking mighty snappy. Regarding this piece.... I am tempted to abandon the project as it does not match the quality of my initial vision.... Then I calculate the hours already invested. Thank goodness for YouTube videos on painting with acrylics... I do like the clouds at least. Im thinking of alternative methods to achieve this style without the countless refining and re-defining of edges... Any ideas out there?
