Spent Friday in the hospital waiting for Ken. Another screw had to come out of his ankle from his previous surgery. (Can I now say that officially he had a screw loose?) There was also some infection to clear up. Hes fine now. We even went out to dinner last night, but hopefully thats the last he spends in a hospital OR and the last I see of a hospital waiting room for a while! But, okay, so heres the deal--what a mining ground for a writer! I tried not to eavesdrop but heard bits and pieces of conversations that made me think, What if? which is the starting question to new plot lines. By the time Ken was wheeled out of recovery, I had several new ideas burrowing through my brain. Most will be forgotten, others wont pan out, but maybe, just maybe I found a gem for a future book, yes? Well see. Anyway, so today I needed a lift and inspiration and saw this. Is this guy talented or what? I got such a kick out of it, thought Id share:
