Spent Mothers Day in the garden, sharing the joy of the abundant growth. I have nurtured this space for 20 years and yet every spring is the most joyous occasion ! It is time for gentle planting so we dont disturb the earth worms. The garter snakes are doing a great job cleaning up the baby slugs and the first dragonflies are hatching. Many hummingbirds are scouting out the flower gardens and the bees are doing their best, even with lower populations. This is bee heaven around here, yet there are so few.
