Spent a couple of hours wandering around the ORC this morning. Hopefully this is the LAST Summer we will have to endure looking at this special place as an overgrown mess. There have been a couple of very positive changes in two plots lately. Volunteers have raised and/or reset the stones in the Godbey and Bigham plots. Heres a before and after of the latter plot. Mary Francis Bigham was a very early settler in West Tennessee. She and her family came to the Covington area around 1831 from VA. by ox-cart and opened the first hotel in Tipton County before moving down and settling in what is now the Frayser area.
