Spent most of Wednesday afternoon searching for the grave of Ray Vernon Poling (one of the two uncles of my father-in-law were killed during the First World War). There are soooo many grave sites and memorials in this area that it proves quite the challenge. However, in the late afternoon we finally zeroed in. It was quite exciting and humbling for all of us. George and Gina are the first relatives to visit the grave since he was interned in 1918 (near Ayette, France).
