Spent most of my morning attending to my garden. It is now producing an overabundance of lettuce, a few radishes and some nice looking tomatoes are forming on the plants. Weeds are in fair control. However, the entire look would be quite an embarrassment to any master gardener or even just the average gardener. When I was planting, I discovered that my carrot seed packet had opened. I still had adequate seed to plant a descent row of carrots. The spilled seed, however, has come back to haunt me, the seeds have sprouted wherever they fell, some in with the peas, others in jagged lines between rows. Anyway, unless they are crowding out other plants, I am letting them be. Just dont ask to see my garden!
