Spent most of the day with Aliyah. She is in good spirits and is back to her normal self. Her sugars are still high (9) so they are continuing the insulin. They are going to do a class with us to teach us how to help aliyah. Right now she is diabetic. Whether or not its permanent, only time will tell. Her blood cultures came back positive, so she has some form of bacteria growing. She is on antibiotics for that. They are hoping to know exactly what it is to know which antibiotic to use. They also want to take a look at her pancreas by ultrasound and to check her enzymes. Still praying this is just a result of the steroids, but we are preparing for the lifelong disease as well. Thanks for praying all, please dont stop. Aliyah is spending the night alone at the hospital tonight. Stephen wanted to make sure everything home is going good for this storm coming. We know aliyah is in good hands. :)
