Spent some time at the property today trying to rake up some debris - the ground is so impacted, it is going to have to be done by machine Im afraid. I would rake and put the debris in a garbage bag, then I would hit another bout of debris - inch by inch and it just seemed to go on forever. Cant kill my arms trying to get rid of it all by hand so will just have to wait until we get the build done and then have a professional come grate it for us. On a brighter note, I did notice our Hostas were coming up and another plant we had out front, so I dug some of them up and re-potted them to re-plant when the new house is done :) Also, Cass found my Jagermeister shot glass (just one of many of my collection that was lost during the tornado). It is absolutely amazing what has survived after all this time, impacted into the ground with heavy equipment rolling over the top of it - just needs a good washing and all is well :)
