Spent the day doing father and son activities. We went shopping and the poor boy was spoiled rotten. Im sure Ill hear no end of it from his mother. At least she doesnt have to deal with the candy/sugar rush I put him into. lol. then, per his request, did some decorating the house for Christmas. Not really my holiday, but he wanted the house to feel more festive and I spent too many years being selfish with him. So I didnt even argue, I just said okay a couple of weeks ago and we finished today. We also bought some blue ray movies tonight and then spent the evening having father/son movie night. Where again he was spoiled rotten with pizza and gourmet popcorn. We did have some debate over the movies to watch. I did put my foot down when he picked a couple of movies that would have caused me to go into a coma of disinterest. I went to an interview this afternoon with him for a volunteer part time position. My son has mixed feelings about it. Hes excited, but at the same time he wants to help too but he cant because hes too young. When I talked to him about it he understands and just hopes he can do it as well when he gets old enough. This weekend has been fun of all kinds of positive. I love weekens like this. day 281 sober.
