Spent the morning at Highland District Hospital. Not my choice but EMTs wouldnt take me to Mt Orab. Ive been battling these stomache issues for about 5 or 6 months. At first I thought it was from eating so many tomatoes. Everything I ate caused terrible gas pains and then loose bowels. Just before Christmas, I finally called the doctor and she told me to go to the ER. I didnt want to spend the holidays in the hospital so I didnt go. Since the new year, things have gotten worse. Bad cramps and becoming weak. All I want to do is lay around and sleep. Loss of appetite, irritable, just yucky feeling. This morning I woke up...couldnt even make myself a cup of coffee. Just too weak. I called Kenneth and Mary. They came and called the life squad for me..I felt too weak to even make it to the car. Well, I was dehydrated big time. They drew blood, did an EKG and a Cscan. No obstruction. ..no tumors...no colitis. My bloodwork was excellant. They gave me a prescription for Imodium and kicked me out. I still have cramps and a bellyache. This is why I hate Highland Hospital. They gave me 2 units of fluid and a breathing treatment. Whoop-de-doo!!! Oh well, at least it wasnt my lungs this time. I know Im telling you more than you want to know, but this is why I havent been on FB that much this winter. Too distracted by my belly. If this medicine doesnt help, Ill probably go to Clermont Mercy. So, guys, say a little prayer for this old girl, please.
