Spent the morning doing something very worthwhile, with Mairtín Manning & Lord Mayor Christy Burke Up and out for 7am. 1st stop was Mater Hospital A&E to meet the staff working frontline Christmas Day. Then 2nd stop, onto Temple Street Childrens Hospital were we met up with Danny O Donoughue from The Script, to chat to some kids that were not fortunate enough to be home for Christmas this year. We even met Santa Claus he stayed out late to make sure all those children got a present. 3rd Stop was one that was a little more emotional Crumlin Childrens Hospital, the work going on there is amazing and the dedication from staff is unreal, big respect for those guys in the baby cardiac unit. Last and by no means least the RDS were homeless families gathered for dinner a major operation put together by the knights. Well done to all involved this morning, especially all ye volunteers giving up there day to help others. #respect #hospital #babycardiacunit #homeless #nights #Mannothehangover
