Spent the whole day yesterday in ER for what I originally thought was some sort of food poisoning (would be me to get food poisoning home in the US after a month long trip to India) but it was actually a perforated appendix! Seriously! I started feeling the cramps just 8 hours after I got home! Can you imagine if it happened while I was in India? Or worst yet, while I was on the 13 hour flight from Abu Dhabi to Chicago??? And so far, no surgery needed!! Now I know that God really loves me. He let me be sick in the comfort of my own bed. Hehe. Better do some extra praying this week.
