Spent yesterday shopping at the market and cooking lunch with Alberto (he gives group Neapolitan cookery classes but we just cooked together very informally). Provola (like a smoked mozzarella) with tomatoes and parsley Vermicelli cooked in fish broth with clams Special giant clams sautéed with wine Prawns with orange and caramelised brown sugar Richiola (bit like sea bass) filleted and baked with lemon. All washed down with plenty of wine followed by local liqueurs. Finished after-lunch drinks at about 21.30. Excellent! Toña Gomez Escorihuela you would have loved the vongole! A few photos to give the idea.
