Spicejet has called off its operations from Mysore starting September. Adding to that is the increased concern about its profitability and financial stability as a whole. We all know that Air India has been a big mess for decades and kingfisher has already lost its flying license. Now I honestly do not know what our Aviation minister is doing. We cant afford to loose our Airlines or let them run under loss. Primarily, India has very high taxes for the ATF and there are too many other taxes too. There should be some relief for this Sector. Airlines can become the backbone of our Economy. A country of a billion needs airlines. If Spicejet goes the Kingfisher Airlines way, then we are in for a very bad time. It will be a shame.
