Spiderwort.... What a name for a beautiful little flower. It seems I run into this flower everywhere we go. From Pennsylvania to Florida, Georgia to Tennessee, we keep seeing this little beauty. It seems to like to grow right along the roads, near gravel. I have always found it in that environment. People frequently ask me how we see all of the nature that we photograph. I always say Photography as taught us to see. The flower is only about an inch wide, and would be easy to miss. When in a refuge or park we drive slow, windows down, and search for pops of color, then if we notice something we stop, or back up or pull over to photograph. Hope you enjoy the spiderwort!
