Owner Kathleen Boyts of Creative Fish Art Gallery was approached about the need to have a pottery studio with open studio time for potters and beginners. A studio space to create pottery, and have it fired. The cheerful colorful pottery studio has everything needed to create unique pottery. For those who have a basic knowledge of pottery and looking for a place to spend time creating. Spinning Fish Pottery Studio is the perfect place. There will be scheduled Open Studio times each week. You can pay for studio time, or rent time on the pottery wheels. A price list for Kiln firing is also available. If you are interested, however have never done pottery. We recommend taking a pottery class by Professional Potter Sarah Thompson. Classes have started for the fall and winter. Call for class dates. After taking a basic class, you then qualify for Open Studio time at Spinning Fish. Next summer there will be KidZs pottery classes including hand building and wheel. Supplies will also be available for purchase from Spinning Fish Pottery Studio, saving a trip to Fort Wayne or South Bend. For more information stop in and take a tour, or call (574) 457-ARTZ (2789).
