Spirit Air. After my horrible trip home in December (24 hours from Cancun to SC) I wrote a long report about Spirit Air. I have finally heard from them and thought it fair that I should post. They are giving me a partial credit in an amount I feel is reasonable. (I had to purchase a flight from another airline to get home.) I have not seen this credit yet but here is their response: Im sorry for the unfortunate delay of flight NK240 on December 27, 2014. We don’t like to be late, and we know that you don’t either. Sometimes the circumstances make it completely unavoidable. You deserve a smooth and trouble-free experience when you travel with us. I’m truly sorry that this trip was an exception. Im happy a supervisor was able to assist and issue you a partial credit in the amount of $xx back to your Visa on file. I can only hope that don’t judge us by this unfortunate experience and choice Spirit for future travels.
