Spirit Awards Review: 20,000 Days on Earth This is not a documentary, The Spirit Awards have stuck it into the documentary category but it is not. Youtube labels it (presumable the producers as well) a docu-drama and that is more accurate. Fans of Nick Cave may enjoy this film but I doubt many others will. Cave drives around and looks longingly into the camera. We see him driving but the shot is almost certainly from a tow rig. The film is so precisely shot that I have to imagine they story boarded the scenes and did multiple takes. Some of the music making scenes are interesting but other than that the film just doesnt work. Pretentious and boring. youtu.be/zQ5lNd7hHgk
