Spirit Talk - November 2014 Note from Miss Ashley: The holiday season is upon us and we love it! Most of our classes have started Christmas routines for our annual Christmas recital! This is such a fun show for our students to perform for friends and family! We hope everyone can make it this year! The gym is busy with activity as our competition cheerleaders are also preparing for the first of their competitions this season – good luck ladies! Upcoming events: November 15th – State Fair Spirit Classic Cheer competition November 21st – Turkey Time @ Xtreme Play – Bring a non-perishable food item to donate and receive $1.00 off admission! November 22nd – Jamfest Cheer compeititon November 23rd-30th – Cheers! is closed for Thanksgiving break (tuition remains the same) December 13th – Bolivar Christmas parade – line up at 1:30 at SBU, parade begins at 2:00. Immediately following the parade is our annual CHRISTMAS RECITAL inside SBU intramural gym. All performance classes will be doing a routine, please invite friends and family to come watch! Check the front desk for performance sign up sheets to let us know if you child will be there! December 15th – Tinsel Tumbling Meet 7:30pm (FORCE Team students only) December 15th – NO OPEN GYM December 22nd – January 3rd – Closed for Christmas break (tuition remains the same) • We are opening a new Mini Stars class on Thursdays at 5:30 (starting November 13th) Please let the office know if you would like to switch to this class! • Cheers! is starting a Special Needs competition cheerleading squad! Please contact Ashley if you or someone you know is interested in this opportunity! • Calling all high school Cheers! Students! If you would like to be an intern for our winter schedule, please pick up an application in the office. They are due November 16th and there will be a mandatory meeting for the chosen interns on November 19th. • If you are interested in private tumbling, dance technique or ballet lessons, please contact Sara and Lorissa who are both accepting new students! • Cheers! Wednesday! – “On Wednesdays we wear PINK!” Don’t forget to show your spirit and wear your Cheers! gear on Wednesday! Be sure to post a pic to our facebook page for a chance to win a prize!!
