I can imagine Jesus sitting at Buddha’s feet and being enthralled by the wisdom of the great teacher. I can imagine Jesus and the Greek deity Dionysus laughing about how integral wine was to celebrations of their legends. I can imagine Moses, Mohammed and Paramahansa Yogananda praying together and the room serving as their chapel being electrified with spiritual energy. I can imagine Jesus, Agnes Sanford, Mary Baker Eddy, and Mikao Usui comparing notes on how they helped people experience greater wholeness. You see, God is ONE, and those who seek to allow the One Power to flow through them to bless others are all prophets and priests, teachers and healers, incarnations of the One. Helping all people recognize their unity with God is Religion’s highest goal. Positive prayer: God is one and I am one with God. This is my simple, yet powerful, spiritual path.
