Spiritual Maturity 3: Its essential for more responsibility. The Lord has been wonderful on this topic to us as He has steadily helped in the organization. Today we want to look at how spiritually maturing christian tends to have more responsibility in the kingdom and the other without that may not. Lets look at the book of Galatians 4 vs 1: Now I say that the heir as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all. Can you consider that scripture very well? A heir: one who has been given the whole inheritance for life, the whole riches, power, authority and should live without worries,lack, or complain. The wonderful thing about being the heir is that you didnt struggle for the wealth! You didnt sweat to know how it was accumulated but you have the access to it all. Without sweat yet with all gain! Wonderful promise but what is the hindrance here? As long as he his a child is not different from a servant. This tells you and I some wonderful things: one, the will is still very much active for the heir to claim, the fact that the heir is a child is the hindrance not that the will is not working for his life! Maybe you need to ponder on that wonderfully well. The scripture is always functioning is you know your rights in it and claim them. Two, who is a child? Contrary to physical growth however, the child in the spirit realm is not know by the years of being born again. A child is a Christian who is yet to identify his rights in the kingdom as a result of his salvation. Knowing these rights demand that one have a good study of the word of God personally that one may walk in the revelation of the word of God which will now be a light onto ones feet and a lamp onto ones path. Once you fail to regularly increase your revelation in the word, you may be the one. Also, do you know that there is actually no rigid time frame for the child to claim that property of his father from his father? The time frame depends on his own speed of spiritual maturity. So, who is delaying you from getting more responsibilities in the kingdom? You are delaying yourself! In addition to this, do you know that scripture said the heir because he is a child is not different from a servant? That is awesome! Little wonder why the bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge, knowledge where? In the word of God! Not basically in your career. He is a servant I.e in bondage not because he is to be in bondage but because he has failed to identify his rights and walk in them. Today, many people are in that! Lacking in wealth, ill in health, fearful in security! And the last clause in that passage says he still remains the heir. Hmnmnmn, what do you wait for? Still want to remain a babe in the kingdom? Grow and be the heir not the servant! God bless us all.
