Spiritual Recipe for your PILGRIM JOURNEY this week 19/01/2014 A meaningless gospel, a meaningless god, and a meaningless savior! You shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins! Matthew 1:21 The angels message to Joseph was a message of grace, redemption, and salvation to sinners. By Gods command, He was named, JESUS, Savior, because He was sent by God to save His people from their sins. What He is called, that He is--Jesus, our Savior. The Lord Jesus Christ is an almighty, effectual Savior! He saves His people from . . . the penalty of their sins--by His blood atonement, the dominion of their sins--by His regenerating Spirit, the being of their sins--when He takes them out of this world, all the evil consequences of their sins--in resurrection glory! Universal love, that it does not matter even if you remain in your sin without coming to Christ in repentance, the love of God is upon you and will eventually take you to heaven; universal grace, that you can continue in your sin and yet grace will be multiplying in your life and universal redemption, that both the sinners and the righteous are universally redeemed because we are all in the church calling on God together even though the way of sin has not been forsaken -- such purport is meaningless love, meaningless grace, and meaningless redemption. To preach such, is to preach a meaningless gospel, a meaningless god, and a meaningless savior! The Bible affirmation is that You shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins! - Matthew 1: 21. Friend, think of the religion you carry on your head all about everywhere, is it enveloped in the entity of Gods purpose for humanity - Salvation and Redemption from sin? Stop carrying RELIGION but carry RIGHTEOUSNESS which alone is found in CHRIST JESUS. Automatically I am imploring (earnestly begging) you to drop religion and carry CHRIST. It only Christ in us(living inside of us, overcome and destroy the power of sin in us, brought us to a position of daily victory over sin) that can bring the hope of eternal glory not religion in us - Colossian 1:27. Grace be multiplied!!!
