Spiritual Warfare Tip 4. Call for reinforcement. Numbers matter to God, hence there is a book in your Bible called Numbers. Surround yourself with praying people, not just personal friends. Look for friends of God. Men and women whose prayers command power in heaven, on earth and under the earth. The Bible teaches the following: First, there are personal prayers that God will grant when you pray in faith. Second, there are prayers which God will grant only when someone else prays on your behalf. This is intercession. The arrogant will not acknowledge the efficacy of the intercessions of others. God often commands that you submit to the prayers of His chosen servants, before you can receive your breakthrough. However, it does not mean throwing your life into the hands of anybody who can pray. Everybody cant speak into your life. Your better life is connected to people sent your way by God. Third, there is the powerful corporate prayer of two or three who are in agreement concerning a request they want to make to God. These are not intercessions. These are reinforcements. Here the group prays as one or in one accord. Finally, intercession and united prayer are not identical. Even strangers can intercede for you as God leads them by the Holy Spirit. Friends who believe in you and in your God and in the word of God can join their hearts with you. While God gives you the overall covering, He has appointed people in your life. I have a 24/7 prayer chain. Every hour of the day there is person I know who prays for me. My biological mother - God bless that soul - is one of my intercessors. Second to the prayers of Christ for me, I trust my mothers prayers. Second to my own prayers before God, I have confidence in the prayers of men and woman of God, who pray with and for me daily. Surround yourself with friends of God! Selah.
