Spiritual and Carnal Thinking Part - 22 Romans 12:2 - Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. We cannot walk in the Spirit without adhering to the Word, because the Word is Spirit and life. Living according to the Word is what makes us spiritual. Any other way of thinking apart from the Word makes us walk in the flesh. Daily study of the Bible is vital. Our potential for walking in the Spirit is directly linked to our understanding of the Word. Like it is said If you take the Word away it is like taking the sun away from the earth. 2 Peter 1:4-5 - by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, Understanding the foundational nature of Truth in Gods word is essential to building a Biblical worldview for every Christians. Let us say I teach you 30 scriptures. With no understanding of these Scriptures, it will not bring a change in us. However if I make myself understood and give examples with testimonies it will surely bring a change in us. Many people say that they read one chapter a day from the Bible; but, what have you understood from there and how did you apply it in your daily life? If you have understood nothing, remembered nothing, applied nothing then you will receive nothing. We need to study the bible everyday just like we tell children to study their lessons - not read their lessons. When we read we can forget; studying is being able to recall and apply what we have studied. We will be able to study the bible when we understand it. Godly words will produce Godly thoughts; ungodly words will produce ungodly thoughts. If thoughts decide our future, we better keep our thoughts godly. If we can harbor these godly thoughts throughout and apply them in our lives, praise be to God, we can build up a bright future. Revelation 21:3 - And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
