He came to that whicj belonged to Him(to His own,His own domain, creation,things,world),and they who were His own did not not recieve Him and did not welcome Him. 12. But to as many as did recieve and welcome Him,He gave the authority,(power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is,to those who believe in(adhere to,trust in,and rely on) His name Isai56:5 13. Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to thr will of the flesh [that of physical impulse]nor to the will of man[that of natural father],but to God.[they are born of God!] * How did you give your life to Jesus? * Was it by a laid down procedure of men through some systems of your denomination? * Were you preached to by a witnessing team? * Did you really get the conviction of your sinfulness? * Did you sleep and dream of some angels visitation and on Mwaking up on the next day you decided it was salvation? *Did you stop doing evil and then mastered what others says as a result of being saved as a testimony and conclude that you had recieve salvation?? * Was it through repentance after hearing the word of God and accepting Christ Jesus to come into you life and then you turn away from your sins after confessing your sins and asking Jesus to come into your life, remove your name from the book of the dead and write it the lambs book of life,then renounce satan and his sins and separate from his service??? *Did you allow Christ to be your Lord really? Evaluate yourself whether it was by self righteousness and good works or by Grace
