Spiritualism ------------------ Spiritualism is a science to understand spirit. The spirit lying within the body of living organisms. This is the entity which every human requires to know for proper behaviour in this world. The knowing process is called self-realisation and when one is self-realised, his journey of spirituality begins. Self-realisation is the first step in the world of Spirituality. Most of the people have notion that helping humanity or shedding their pain and tear is something sacred but this is Action (Karma) with the result, this is not spirituality. Spiritualism is completely different religion. This is understanding self entity and discarding all material pleasures. One attached to this world for any purpose may be treading and trying to understand. Example - Mahatama Bhisma, but he had long life and stern believe in action, and after failure and fall of all the egoistic pillars of his thoughts he come to understand the real spiritualism and ultimately gained emancipation. Now a days, lives are very short and by the time one thinks of spiritualism the lives fold towards death. yadaa hi nendriaarthesu na karmasv anusajjate sarva-sankalpa-sannyaasi yogaarudhas tadocyate Transliteration - A person is said to be elevated in yoga when, having renounced all material desires, he neither acts for sense gratification nor engages in fruitive activities. uddhared amaata,aama, maat,aama, avasaadayet aatmayva hy aatmano bandhur aatmaiva ripur aatmanah Tranliteration - One must deliver himself with the help of his mind, and not degrade himself. The mind is the friend of the conditioned soul and his enemy as well. From mind one can never be spiritual but yes there is possibility of mind in the form of intelligence with the spiritual person.
