Spirituality as presented to the market of human desperation, with spiritual methods and practices (and of course their countless books and products) which promise enlightenment is only a renewed fashion in the selection of ignorance dressing. Spiritual fashionism is the signature of the New Age of Bullshitters trying to benefit from the vacuum left by the failure of traditional religions to remain credible. Just because traditionally organized religions are losing their grip on more and more people in the West (obviously not including fundamentalist States like Israel or Muslim Middle East) it doesnt mean that ignorance is disappearing. Ignorance is a deeply seeded desire in the human psyche. It could be because people identify not knowing with the comfort of being a child and feeling protected, and they may think that if you dont know, but instead believe in magic and follow authority, like in childhood, things will work out. So it seems like people have an immense desire for immaturity and escaping reality, that way gods can fix whatever doesnt work, all they have to do is wish it and follow orders. I guess gods then send scientists to do the job :v This documentary below presents ONLY the aspect of organized religions, but I wonder if Richard Dawkins is aware of how pervasive disorganized spirituality is, especially that which claims to justify itself with science!! The point is: watch out for that spiritual rat poisoning you are constantly being handed down in places such as THIS GROUP, cause initially it only puts you to sleep, but eventually it kills you...
