Spirituality is just watered-down religion. Its just as dangerous and just as stupid. Spirituality is a retreat for feeble minds and a perfect substitute for anybody damaged by the baggage of religion. Sure, its a step in the right direction, but it falls short. Well short. Spirituality often fosters a desire for more than what is. Its no surprise that most spiritual people still believe there is something about them that will exist after the death of the body. Sure, a spiritual world-view can offer solace to people who have experienced the loss of a loved one, but that doesnt make it true. In fact, spiritual people often indulge in some type of superstition; and some to the point of absolute absurdity. Most self-proclaimed spiritualists arrogantly assume and presume that their beliefs are superior to those of the devout religious. They often have an obsession with the idea that their beliefs cant be put into a box. They often despise labels. Spiritual people often point to their own personal experience of something absurd, as if their subjective experience determines the truthfulness of reality. Indeed, spirituality is a powerful sign of a gullible mind and a weak intellect. :D Do YOU agree? :D
