The writers havent confirmed exactly how culpable Ezra is, but they have promised this wont be another fake-out where it turns out he actually has pure intentions, like we got when Toby turned out to only be on the A team to help Spencer. We know he really has been tracking Ali, and we will find out whether or not hes Board Shorts. A Liar gets suspicious… and Aria finds out. Whatever is up with Ezra, one of the Liars — but not Aria — will begin to suspect him early on when the season returns. With a Liar on his trail, Ezra cant keep his secrets forever, and Aria will find out about his involvement with the A team. Unsurprisingly, the fallout is not pretty. Ezra has a connection to Mona. We also know that Ezra will form some kind of interesting relationship with Mona. Could that be romantic (Mona is supposed to get a surprising love interest...), or is it all A related? What can we expect in the premiere? The Season 4 winter premiere (“Who’s in the Box?”) will feature Aria and Ezra having a clandestine meeting. Of course, Ezra also has a meeting with the girl formerly known as A, Mona, so we dont know if this is good news for Ezria or not. Theres also a shot in the preview that shows Aria knocking a box out of Maggies hands, which could be related to Ezra somehow. So, is there any hope? Things dont sound good for the ship, but Pretty Little Liars showrunner Marlene King has encouraged Ezria fans to hang in there, so all hope is not lost. -Kat
