Spoke to moms surgeon and well, she has a long road ahead of her. She seems in good spirits but is uncomfortable always laying in bed. The nurse tells me she had a good sleep last night! Today looks like another CT scan to see whats going on upstairs and we will proceed from there. Mom could be in the hospital anywhere from 3 to 6 months. She may have to go to the Glenrose for rehab and there may be some occupational therapy required. Mom is out of ICU and is gladly accepting visitors! Just 2 at a time & not between 2:30 & 4:30.
