Spoke with Joe LaViolette Dad again this morning. Surgery has been postponed until tomorrow (hopefully) as they wait for him to further stabalize. Hes still being kept sedated in the meantime. Once this surgery takes place hopefully theyll be able to wake him up and address some of his other injuries. Just have to play the waiting game in the meantime. As you can imagine, this has taken a pretty substantial toll on joes family but they are holding up about as well as possible considering. Its going to be a very lengthy recovery, which will force them to be on the western slope indefinitly so hopefully we can come up with some ways to assist both them and joe when the time comes. I relayed to his Dad, the upwelling of support ive received for Joe and I could hear in his voice how much it meant to him so thank you all. I will keep the updates coming but unfortunately as badly as we all want a quick resolution to this, it simply isnt in the cards so your patience is appreciated. Joe, if I was with you, and you could hear me, Id just let you know that we love you, and were all behind you for the long haul. Keep fighting Brother.
