Spoke with Michael Pavlovic on this one, and I think its a winner. With the 2016 Presidential races just around the corner (and no that is not hyperbole), I am confident that a phrase will be spoken by a national media personality and a Republican presidential candidate. That phrase is (Insert candidate name here) is worse than Obama. The rules: • We’ll have everyone chip in $10. • Each player will list: 1. National media person; 2. A Republican Presidential Candidate. • It will be the responsibility of the players to monitor their media personality and candidate for the phrase. • The phrase must be about a declared candidate for the 2016 Presidential election • The phrase does not necessarily need to be spoken about a Democrat. • The media and candidate wagers are separate wagers. A player may collect half of the pot for being the first to notify about the media or the first to notify about the Republican Presidential candidate • The national media personality must appear on a nationally distributed medium (i.e. Fox News, Wall Street Journal, National Review, The Blaze) • The Republican Presidential Candidate must be someone who has actually declared that they are running for President. Just having an exploratory committee does not count. • The phrase can only be used in a negative fashion. Anything close to “No I don’t think that (Insert Candidate’s Name here) is worse than Obama,” does not count.
