Filled with bright engaging colours, and simple words the story will not only help children learn to read but will teach them basic sight words as well. In this first story a baby elephant Tembo is born and the reader follows along with the little elephant Tembo as he begins his exploration of the savannah where he was born. There are 3 reading options and in the read to me option text is highlighted as the story is being read. One feature I loved was that kids could not interact with the scenes whilst the story was being read. This stops the interactions taking away from the story. In this set of 4 stories children will follow along with Tembo as they learn about life on the savannah. Each time an object is touched the name of that is both spoken and displayed on screen. You can test your childs knowledge in the find me game after reading the book. Also included is a memory and puzzle game as well. You can change the app between different languages allowing kids to learn up to 6 other languages. I also loved the customisation of the app where you can change font type, spacing, colours, background colours and more to suit the needs of your child. I highly recommend this app. - Sharon
