Spooky nights 2013 A Spine-tingling Experience in Shelby Farms Park needs Actors! · October 4-5, 7-10pm · October 11-12, 7-10pm · October 18-19, 7-10pm · October 25-26, 7-based on crowd (no later than midnight) · October 31, 7-10pm Features · Haunted Trail o .6mile wooded, horse trail o Ages 12 + only o Need 100 volunteer actors · Nocturnal Nature Hikes o Shakespearean narration on a wooded, night hike in the Park o Family oriented o Need 50 volunteer actors · Spooky Vendors +Food Trucks o Food Trucks will offer goolish food options · Pumpkin Carving + Harvest Crafts o Carving + decorating pumpkins and other crafts · Headless Horseman Hay Rides o Partnership with Carriage Company of Memphis, hay rides will utilize paved Chickasaw Trail · Zombie Laser Tag o 20 volunteer actors Haunted Trail themes: · Zombie Kids Playground · Pine Lake Stalker · Helter Skelter + Clown Carnival · Radioactive Disaster Area · Zombie Apocalypse · Pine Lake Monster · Demon Den (gazebo) · Freak Show: Michael Myers + Freddy Krueger + Jason · Trolls under the Bridges · Creepy Animals: wolves, bats, spiders · Coffin Consortium · Children of the Corn · Claustrophobia · Wedding of Fear Nocturnal Nature Hikes: Families will begin at the old Amphitheatre where they will be in search of beavers, owls, raccoons, deer and other nocturnal animals as they enjoy Shakespearean narration. After the hike, families will gaze at the night sky discussing constellations, planets, stars, and the phases of our moon.
