Spoony’s Top 10 Books. In No Particular Order (omitting many reads I have loved :s) 1. The Hungry Caterpillar. It was a tough call between this and Billy Goats Gruff. Both went on a mission of eating, learned something along the way an had giant text for my tinny weeny eyes. 2. The God Delusion by Richard Dawking . . . anything by Dawkins. Cemented my Atheist beliefs at the age of 16. Equipped me with a lot of rebuttals to religious folk. I’d say I’m more spiritual now, not subscribing to any particular organised religion. 3. Every book I have read by Michael Crichton. Love how he explores the ethics of science, whilst also hopping around psychology, social dynamics and philosophy. 4. The four hour work week by Timothy Ferriss. All his books and blog posts cover handy hints and tips for surviving the rat race. 5. The Game by Neil Strauss. Love this guy. Along with his PUA brothers he gave me the courage to shave my head and kiss close. 6. Mind over mood. The first book I read on CBT. I was going through a very tough phase and still use the techniques to this day 7. A Brief History of Everything by Bill Bryson. From the Big Bang to the present day, he takes you on a journey through space and time. Legend. 8. A fools guide to investing. It cost me a couple of pence in a charity shop. Was dog eared and well loved. Has since saved me, made me and grown me a lot more than the initial investment. 9. Fantastic Mr Fox. The first hardback I remember cherishing. Roald Dahl made me look out my window for giants after midnight. 10. 10.I haven’t read it yet, it’s still in production. I don’t even know its name. A mystery novel by Martin Hole.
