Sport and Recreation Victoria Local Facilities for Local Clubs Program 2014/2015 Sport and Recreation Victoria is seeking applications through local government from clubs and community groups for a new funding program that supports the development of new or redevelopment of existing community sport and recreation infrastructure. Grants of up to $50,000 are available to clubs on a matching $1:$1 basis. The club contribution can be a combination of cash and in-kind. Community sport and recreation clubs and organisations are encouraged to contact Mr Rob Moir, Manager Sustainability, Environment & Emergency at Horsham Rural City Council (phone: 53829739) to lodge a Project Proposal Form for their project by Friday, 29 August, 2014. Council will only consider lodging full applications for projects: • that are fully scoped with supporting quotations/cost estimates and are ready to commence; • where the club has the required matching contribution, cash and in-kind; • that supports existing plans for the development of the facility. Please note that Council can only submit two funding applications seeking up to $50,000 in funding for each application.
