Sporting a status dog collar, leather with 3 spikes protruding, - TopicsExpress

Sporting a status dog collar, leather with 3 spikes protruding, tied to railings of a derelict factory in Deykin Ave, Witton last Saturday. Abandoned in freezing cold temperatures, absolutely petrified, fearing anyone that came close. Carys Reeves of the Animal House Rescue came to her aid, quickly gaining her trust and taking her home. A scanner is ran across her skinny body, beep......a microchip. Now was that chip registered to the person who abandoned her, so many questions running through our minds and all of us unsure whether to make that call. Well we did and what happened next, we could never imagine. A strong and powerful man answered, we explained, the man broke down, crying so hard we couldnt understand anything he was saying. At one point we had to cut the call, the emotion was just too much to bear. After some minutes he called us back, he found it very difficult through tears and sobs telling us how he had taken a decision to rehome his dog some months ago. He had found her a home through his local church and never expected something like this could happen. Owner arranged to visit her at the rescue, despite her ordeal, her face lit up and she started dancing around in excitement the minute she heard his voice. More tears but loads of cuddles and it was clear she loved her former family. Several times each day the owner has been speaking to Lin Reeves of Animal House Rescue. Well Gotti has been spayed and today she has been returned to her family but on the rescues adoption contract. Enjoy your life Gotti with Saf and his lovely family. A massive thank you to everyone that helped last Saturday!
