Sources say NCAA officials met with the reigning Heisman Trophy winner for close to six hours, interrogating him on whether he accepted payment from memorabilia dealers in exchange for autographs. INMATE INCOME: NFLPA WORKS TO GET HERNANDEZ $82K IN PAY The National Football League Players Association filed a grievance against the New England Patriots on behalf of jailed former tight end Aaron Hernandez in an attempt to collect $82,000 in workout bonuses Hernadez’s contract. The former Pats player’s contract was terminated after he was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Hernandez inked a five-year extension in August 2012 worth a potential $40 million. He has reportedly earned $9.79 million of the deal.
