Sports Journalism: Taking a multi-media approach - workshop by Indias veteran sports journalist Norris Pritam on Friday, 17 October 2014, at the Apeejay Stya University campus. Norris Pritam is one of the most versatile Sports Journalists in India. He has covered sports for all media platforms in the last 30 years. He has just come back from Incheon, South Korea, after reporting the Asian Games 2014 for radio, television and newspapers. Former athlete, Norris Pritam started writing on sports in 1981 with the Indian Express. He joined tvi, Indias first news and current affairs television channel as its Sports Editor. Since 1999, he has been freelancing for BBC World Service London, Deutsche Welle, leading Indian TV Channels, Indian Express, DNA and other publications. He has travelled extensively and covered seven Asian Games, six Olympic Games, five Commonwealth Games, besides covering several world championships and world cups in different countries.
