Sports Update: Kudos to our Boys university cricket team has reached the finals in the 7th AUS Intercollegiate Twenty/20 Cricket Tournament December,11 – 17, 2014 Road to the Finals Quarter Finals : Played against SZABIST – toss won by SZABIST and chose to bat and they made 60 in 20 overs all out and we chased the same in 9 overs. Mohd Adil, student from School of Engineeringmade 27 runs and Md Hameed Pathan, student from the School of Business took 4 wickets and Syed Yaseen took 3 wickets each. Semi Finals: Played against BITS – Pilani Dubai – toss won by Manipal University Dubai and we gave them a target of 141 for the loss of 4 wickets and they made 136 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Mohd Adil, student from School of Engineering made 51 runs of 50 balls and Harjoth Singh, student from the School of Business scored 27 runs of 23 balls. We will be playing finals against the winners of AUS v/s University of Bolton RAK. The finals will be played on 17th of December 2014.
