Sports guide time - its the turn of triathlon. Triathlon makes only its third Games appearance having debuted on the sports programme in 2002, when England missed out on a medal by 24 seconds, Simon Lessing finishing fourth in the mens event. Having missed out in Delhi, the sport returns and #TeamEngland have high hopes thanks to Olympic champion Alistair Brownlee and his brother, bronze medallist Jonathan. It all takes place at Strathclyde Country Park, with the womens individual event the first medal opportunity of the Games, at around 2pm on July 24th. On the 26th is the mixed team relay event.
