Sports play a vital role in a nation’s life. Sports and discipline are indispensible for each other. And our society needs discipline everywhere. It is good to see that despite the troubled times in KPK, this province has been a hub of sport activities for the last five years. The participation and standing of our players at national level is outstanding. The Director General Sport of KPK plans to start afresh the sport activities at nursery level so that our province reclaims the last prestige in games like hockey and squash. After a reign of terror and violence, sport activities are also returning to out tribal area. Parents are encouraged to allow their female wards to participate in sports along with boys.
