Sportsmen should be up in arms at what this will do to wildlife habitat. There already have been devastating effects on Wisconsin’s waters due to the drastic increase in the numbers of these wells. The destruction to wetlands alone will reduce wildlife populations because ducks, geese and fish rely on wetlands for breeding, feeding, and nurturing their young. Streams like the Little Plover River, vital for trout and other aquatic life, are going dry.
